Oke, so I thought I'd write down my opinion about the Twilight Saga.
Book 1: Twilight
I began reading Twilight after I'd seen the movie. Maybe that was a good thing to do. Because now I appreciate the writings even more. I didn't think much of the movie, other than Robert Pattinson looked fine!
But I started reading anyway. Probably because My home base forum buddies were talking about it a lot. So of course, I followed.
Anywayz... It soon came to me in the 2nd or 3rd chapter that I was reading a really good book.
Of course I'd already seen the movie... so I already knew a lot. But by reading the book, I realized how much they 'forgot' to film.
In the end of book 1 I couldn't wait to go to the store and buy the rest. I sort of already knew that I would like them all!
So, the next day... I went to the bookstore and bought book 2, 3 and 4.
Book 2: New Moon
Book 2 begins where Bella tells the readers that they jumped 6 months ahead. And then, suddenly after her birthday 'party' Edward disappears. First I thought about stopping. It wasn't Twilight anymore without him. But, curious as I was I continued reading.
I find New Moon a very good book. You really get to know Bella and her relationship with Jacob.
He had a small part in the first book, but you don't realize how big his role is untill you've read New Moon.
A lot of people say: New Moon is boring because Edward isn't in there for the most part. That's true. But if you skip that part. And read the story of Bella and Jacob, I'm telling you. The only thing you do is laugh, cry, laugh. Their story is funny and sad. Because Bella doesn't really answer the love Jacob has for her.
In the end of course Edward returns. Which is also a good part. But still... Sometimes I wonder how Bella's life would have gone if she said yes to Jacob, if she said yes to his love.
Book 3: Eclipse
This book I actually thought was a bit weird. I mean, suddenly the stories of Jacob, Bella and Edward were mixed. In some way good, in some way confusing.
I won't tell to much because I know my friend Lore still needs to read the rest... But because I really liked New Moon. I really got butterflies in my stomach at the part before the big fight... The moment between Jacob and Bella. Even though I love the couple Edward and Bella, I was still thinking what if....
Book 4: Breaking Dawn
Actually I'm not quite finished with this book. I have two chapters to go till the end - ): -
I'm absolutely in love with this book. The writing, the stories... the adding of one cute character.
It makes me curious about how they are going to put this book on the big screen.
At least, I'm happy things worked out between Jacob, Bella and Edward. Atleast Jacob and Edward don't call out names like : leech and wolf! They are just Edward and Jacob now. Peace at last...
Well, I can't really say yet actually. I haven't finished yet!
But I'm afraid to start reading again... because I don't want to say my goodbyes..
Edit: Lore, I wrote a big part of the story I will dedicate to you. But again... if you know me, I'm struck by writers block. Thank god there is no deadline!
