‘I know where I’ve been!’

So…. I decided to write something on here. The only problem was that I didn’t know what to write, let alone…. what about. OR WHEN!

I can’t believe I’m saying this…. but I’ve been really busy. So busy that I haven’t even had the time to call a good friend of mine. I feel so ashamed. Please forgive me!! But then….. I have never phoned with my oldest friend (the one I know is actually reading this blog!)…. must happen sometime soon. Why?? Well…. that’s the other news I have to write. Not tell, cuzz this is a blog. Why is it called a blog though?! Hmm. Something else to add to the list; Find Out What This Means, and WHY.

Anyway, like I said…. a lot to write about. I’ll start at the beginning.

My previous blog described how I was going to spend my summer. Only…. my summer was nothing like that! I ended up…. NOT going to NYC nor Wilmington, NC. What I did do was ‘house sit’ a friends house for 4 weeks. Total freedom. And I loved it. I loved it sooooo much that it was kind of hard for me to hand in that freedom and go back to the real world with parents involved….. telling you to clean up your mess!

The other thing I started are my drivinglessons. Which of course is totally great. To make it even better…. I will be doing my driving exam on October 29th. I hope I pass…. let’s hope!

Another ‘movement’ in my life has to be the new program I’m following. It’s called International Degree In English and Education. At the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. Which….. will prepare me for a career a teacher of English…. INTERNATIONALLY! I’m only in my first year…. which will give me enough time to find out if I would like to become a teacher…. I’ll just leave all my options open.

I didn’t expect for it to be this good though. The classes are really interesting and the group is very nice as well! Both boys and girls…. Really nice. The first day I connected with two girls; Anna (Dutch but from Spain) and Fran(celise) (> From Sint. Maarten). And we’re still having fun! This week, Titia entered our little group. Also a Dutch girl but I believe she’s originally from Rwanda or whatever. I should re-check that!

Those are the things going on in my life. My friend Lore told me to write her an email…. I did. But I think that reading this blog will explain a lot! We should speak soon, alright?!

Well, I think I’ve written quite a few sentences…. Lore… I hope you will read them. I’ll let you know that they are here for you to read.

For now, off to doing some stuff for school. Not really looking forward to that, but….. Not all the things you do in life can be fun!

Also my plans for the summer:

At the beginning (June) I will visit NYC with my parents, next is a trip through my home country with my friend, by car!!
To finish I will be paying a visit to Wilmington, North Carolina. I always wanted to go there with my friend Lore. But since we haven’t even met yet, and I don’t see that happening any time soon…. I have decided to go down there all by myself. There’s a big chance that OTH will have said goodbye to that town by then… but I’m not going there just for OTH. I’ve just fallen in love with the area and I want to see for myself what it’s like. The videos and pictures aren’t working for me anymore.

Of course, in between my get aways I will be working my bottum off to earn some money, how else am I going to pay for my trip to Wilmington?!!

Present/Future (endless Joy)

I would like to thank the amazing band Enation for my inspiration, see title.

I’m not really sure what to say… Probably because I don’t know.
I’m in my final year and I just finished my semi finals 2! We’ve got 3 of them until the finals so I’ve only got 1 left to get my grades as high as possible. I think that won’t be a big deal… just need to study hard and learn how to express myself in French, FAST!

Recently my dad bought a new car (again… I might add.) And I’ve been told that after I get my drivers license, I will be driving his old car. How freakin’ awesome is that?!

 

I’m totally excited about that! Plus, it gives me a chance to drive all the way to far far away Belgium to spot my friend Lore (hint lol)

After my finals  I’ll be flying to NYC for a couple of days, some shopping and sight seeing for me!
After that I need to get back to the Netherlands for my graduation.

Following I will get a job and work my way to where ever to earn some money!

Maybe a short get away with a close friend, but not sure if that’ll happen.

My latest wish is to talk to my friend Lore… she’s supposed to tell my all about Barcelona and some guy…. lol

Things to look forward to in 2010:

Graduating. Getting my drivers license. Visiting Lore because of the previous. Going to New York in June. Visiting Ireland and London. Spending time with my friends. Reading. Going to a new school. Probably the IDEE thingy.

Walking in a Winterwonderland!!!

Well, the guys from the weather report were wrong. It looks like we’re having a white Christmas. AT LAST!! It’s been a long time since I’ve seen snow.

I added some pictures, one of my dog… she’s too short on her feet… but o so cute. She looks like a little bambi while in the snow.

Dear Lotje. She’s old… cranky, stinky and whiney but I love her.

Just to show you how much snow has fallen on half a day.

My dear friend Sabine will pick me up tomorrow. We’re going to the WinterEfteling in Kaatsheuvel the day after. I’m so looking forward to it. Especially with all this snow!!

My Dear sister-in-law her heart is broken because my ass of a brother cheated on her! Just like his father. Ugh.
I feel for her. And… because of that selfish act of him… Christmas is ruined.

Porcupine Tree.

I totally forgot to tell you that I've spotted their car like 1,5 month ago.
Should have taken a picture but I forgot. LOL

I went to the movies with my mother and when we got back to the car... right next to it was.... the ultra huge SUV from the Porcupine Tree crew. LOL
